Caesars Entertainment Announces Expansion of WSOP Online, Pooling Liquidity

Caesars Entertainment has revealed it is expanding WSOP Online by adding pool liquidity to a fourth US market. 

Participants from Pennsylvania will now be joining those from Michigan, Nevada, and New Jersey on the WSOP Online platform ahead of the 56th annual World Series of Poker at Paris Las Vegas and Horseshoe Las Vegas, taking place from May 27 to July 16.

"The addition of the Pennsylvania player pool to WSOP Online comes at the perfect time, and we’re ready to give avid poker players in The Keystone State the opportunity to raise the stakes on their poker play,” said Danielle Barille, vice president of online poker at Caesars Entertainment.

“This expansion enhances the experience for players by building even greater prize pools that are up for grabs all summer long as a part of our jam-packed WSOP Online schedule. We’re ready to see who earns our largest online prize pools ever once the first hands are dealt this summer.”

What is the meaning of sharing liquidity? 

In online poker, providing liquidity among various jurisdictions permits players from distinct areas, each having unique gambling laws, to compete together on the same poker platform or network. This forms a consolidated player base, enhancing the count of active players, games, and tournaments accessible at any moment. 

Caesars has also announced the 2025 WSOP Online bracelet schedule, featuring 30 bracelet events ($250 to $5,300 buy-ins, live final tables, and $5.5 million in guarantees) that will take place alongside the World Series of Poker on the Las Vegas Strip. 

WSOP Online Bracelet Timetable Unveiled 

The initial online bracelet event is scheduled for May 31. Five tournaments will showcase live final tables in Las Vegas, concluding with the last event on July 15. Online bracelet tournaments in online poker are regarded as esteemed competitions. For the first time, WSOP Online will feature an online bracelet leaderboard, offering over $30K in prizes. 

Participants in the online gold bracelet events will earn leadership points. The player with the most points will be recognized as the 2025 WSOP Online Bracelet Player of the Year. 

Criteria for Land-Based Tournaments 

Every Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday during the series will showcase an official gold bracelet available, starting with the $333 Triple Treys No-Limit Hold’em event on June 8 and culminating with the $5,300 WSOP Online High Roller Championship on July 9. 

Over $30 million in prizes was distributed from online bracelet events in June and July of the previous year. This year's agenda features six mystery bounty tournaments, offering $5.5 million in total guarantees. 

WSOP Online will include unique satellites for qualifying for live tournaments, with buy-ins starting at just $1.
